Steamatic offers cleaning and restoration services through more than 500 franchise territories in the United States and in 25 countries around the world. Steamatic's highly trained and certified technicians work with insurance agents, adjusters and directly with the public. Restoration services include fire and smoke, water mitigation, mold remediation, and contents recovery. Commercial and residential services include carpet cleaning, hard surface cleaning, air duct cleaning, area rugs, furniture and drapery cleaning. Steamatic's mission statement: "Steamatic is committed to making our world a safer and cleaner environment for present and future generations."
Company History

In 1948, two Fort Worth businessmen decided to start a carpet cleaning business. From the beginning, it was obvious that their company would be different and innovative. Bill Blackmon and Scott Mooring built a reputation of high standards and reliability that soon made them the leaders in the cleaning and restoration field.

As their market expanded, an idea formed to sell their unique approach to cleaning through franchise opportunities, enabling people around the world to take advantage of their experience and knowledge. In 1967, Blackmon and Mooring formed Steamatic, Inc. to market franchises featuring this unique, new cleaning method. Combining their years of experience with this new cleaning technology, Blackmon and Mooring were able to provide a valuable opportunity to franchisees.

Steamatic continues to grow, and is now being directed by Bill Sims. They currently support over 400 franchise territories in the US and have franchises operating in 27 countries around the world. In Europe and some other countries Steamatic franchises operate under the name BMS Technologies.

In October 2006 Bill Sims purchased Steamatic, Inc and its subsidiaries from BMS Enterprises, Inc. Bill Sims, President said "We have had the privilege of working with the Steamatic franchise owners for over 20 years. Steamatic has had a long history and proud heritage, and I appreciate the efforts that others have given in the past to help build this company.
