Proshred� Chicago Franchise Wins "President's Award" At 2011 Annual Conference

Rodney Quasny is the proud franchise owner of PROSHRED� Chicago South. Last month he won the President's Award at the company's annual conference. This award is given to a franchisee who is an overall team player with great charisma, dedication and one who delivers results in the field.

PROSHRED� looks at certain characteristics when choosing a winner for this award. The franchise would have to show strong annual growth in scheduled and purge revenue, compliance in ISO 9001-2008, dedication to PROSHRED�'s sales and marketing program, as well as being an ambassador for the company and the brand.

Quasny believes that winning the award is largely due to his emphasis on innovation, being PROSHRED�'s pioneer of utilizing a store-front location for his document shredding business. "We are excited about offering a new walk-in shredding service to our residential and business customers", states Quasny, "We have found that our customers appreciate the ability to witness their documents being shredded either at their location or at our facility." Andrew Parry, PROSHRED�'s Vice President of Operations, praised the Chicago location stating that,: "Rodney and his team have done an excellent job in terms of system leadership, executing a consistent high-level sales and customer focused service for their clients while simultaneously continuing to innovate and contribute to the overall growth and development of the franchise network. We commend Rodney for his achievements and hard work, and we look forward to supporting his future development plans in the Chicago market." Quasny originally opened PROSHRED� Chicago in May of 2007. The franchise has grown to four on-site shredding trucks serving most of the Chicago-land area. Rodney moved the business to its current store-front retail location, on 14029 South Cicero Avenue in Crestwood IL, in December of 2010. The new location's visibility has increased the awareness of PROSHRED� Chicago's document destruction, computer recycling and hard drive destruction services. Rodney plans to purchase another PROSHRED� franchise for the northern suburbs in the near future.

Raising awareness and increasing security for the business and residential sectors is an important strategy for PROSHRED�. 1 in every 10 U.S. consumers has been victimized by identity theft (Javelin Strategy and Research, 2009), which PROSHRED� is diligently fighting to reduce in the communities it operates in.
