Johnston brings more than 15 years of experience in brand marketing, public relations and operations to her new role. She most recently served as Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing & Communications for GFG, joining the current management team in February 2007 after leading marketing and company operations initiatives for MaggieMoo's International, LLC as Senior Director of Brand Marketing & Company Operations.
Prior to entering the franchising arena, Johnston specialized in start-up businesses and new product introductions across a variety of industries. She spent several years implementing tactical, full-spectrum marketing programs for FOLIOfn and ProFunds Advisors, LLC, both pioneers in the financial services industry. She also brings agency and product launch expertise to all of GFG's brands, including the launch of L'Oreal Feria hair color at McCann-Erickson Worldwide and Procter & Gamble's Febreze Fabric Refresher and Downy Ball at Grey Advertising.
Johnston holds a bachelor's degree in English & Communications from Boston College and a MBA from Georgetown University.
