As Duluth and surrounding residents seek to stock up on batteries and flashlights and other emergency related products, Batteries Plus® of Duluth offers several tips to help consumers make the best purchasing decisions.

* Power inverter, which enables you to power your TV or other electronic items from your car if necessary.

* Candles with matches (for use in situations where you don't want to unnecessarily drain batteries, but need light).

* Bottled water and non-perishable food to feed the family for a day or two.
