California Pizza Kitchen Opens First Restaurant In Guadalajara

(Tuesday, May 05, 2009) - California Pizza Kitchen Inc. has opened its sixth location in Mexico, the company has announced. The new restaurant, operated by CPK franchise partner Grupo Calpik, S.A. de C.V., is the first to open in Guadalajara.

The new 5,000 square-foot restaurant seats approximately 220 people and is located inside the Andares Shopping Mall. The restaurant is near Stadium 3 de Marzo, home field for the Tecos Mexican League Soccer team.

The company also has announced that management will be presenting at the Baird Growth Stock Conference in Chicago on May 14 at 8:55 a.m. Central time.

Interested parties can listen to an audio webcast of the presentation by going to the company's Web site. A replay of the presentation will be available for 90 days at the end of the conference.
