1-800-dryclean Named 'All-star' Franchise

(Tuesday, April 07, 2009) - 1-800-DryClean was named to Dun & Bradstreet's (D&B) AllBusiness AllStar Franchises list for 2009.

"We've built 1-800-DryClean into a leading national franchise that's known for quality, service and value, which has served our franchise owners well, as more customers want convenience and savings as the economy struggles to recover."

To be eligible for the AllBusiness AllStar list, a franchise company must submit a franchise disclosure document and financial data, and have at least 25 current domestic franchised units or 100 company-owned units and 5 domestic franchise units.

Criteria used to rank the winners included franchise unit growth rate, financial strength, system size, years in business, years franchising, availability of financing and web visibility.

"We're thriving and innovating," Toler says. "This year, our franchise owners in San Mateo, Calif., were presented with a Sequoia Award for their volunteer contributions to the community, and 1-800-DryClean recently awarded 15 environmentally responsible customers with free cards for ‘car-pooling' their clothes as part of our Go Green initiative."

1-800-DryClean, a member of the Service Brands International (SBI) family of brands, has more than 130 franchise units in the U.S.
