Engel & Völkers Franchise Opens Shop In St. Petersburg

(Thursday, March 26, 2009) - With the opening of its first residential property shop in St. Petersburg, the Engel & Völkers franchise has now expanded into Russia. The company has announced that the new store is being run by licensee, Alexander Belyaev, and his son together with four employees. The new Engel & Völkers outlet is located 150 metres away from the famous State Hermitage Museum and close to the Kempinski Hotel.

According to the company, the new shop's portfolio already includes more than 20 top quality Russian properties. Furthermore, the shop will also be offering its clients premium properties from its global network. Christian Völkers, board chairman of Engel & Völkers AG, welcomed the new business in Russia saying it was an important step for the company.
