Cici's Honors 2008's Top Performers

(Tuesday, March 24, 2009) - CiCi's Pizza honored the company's 2008 top performers during its Restaurant Business Conference held on March 4 and 5 in Lake Tahoe, Nev. CiCi's president Craig Moore and director of operations Kyle Smith presented each winner with an award reflecting 24 categories.

Categories included:

Operator of the Year - Ken English, Katy, Texas

This award is voted on by the system's franchisees and recognizes the operator who executed at the highest operational level, while being a great example of the CiCi's "Guest First" culture, "WOW'ing" guests, building sales and developing their entire team from top to bottom during 2008.

Manager of the Year - Beth McQuaide, Pittsburgh

Single Unit Team of the Year - Buddy Wilcox, Beaumont, Texas

Multi Unit Team of the Year - PJ Moore, Winston/Salem/Jacksonville, N.C.

Rising Star Award - Mitch Uehling, Columbia, S.C.

Turnaround Award - Jay Zorn, Houston

CiCi's Legendary Operator Award - Kelly McCann, Oklahoma City market; Frank Rogers, Dallas market

The Legendary Operator Award is based on outstanding character, class and contribution to the success and growth of the brand. In addition, each honoree has developed managers that have gone on to be successful franchisees within the CiCi's system.
