Snip-its Outlines Aggressive Expansion

(Friday, March 06, 2009) - Snip-its Corp., the entertainment-based franchise of children's hair salons, is opening a new salon in Palo Alto, Calif., in April and plans to open another 14 new U.S. locations throughout the year.

In February, Natick, Mass.-based Snip-its opened a salon in Pearland, Texas. It plans to launch a salon in Seekonk, Mass., this summer. Snip-its has 67 locations and has served more than 1 million children in 23 states. System-wide sales are approximately $15 million. In 2007, Snip-its was named the 30th fastest growing franchise in the U.S. by Franchise Times Magazine.
