Caribou Intros $1 Bakery Items

(Wednesday, February 25, 2009) - Caribou Coffee has announced a national "More Bou for Your Buck" campaign, in which the company will offer any bakery item for the promotional price of $1 each to customers who purchase a large beverage at Caribou Coffee through March 22.

The announcement comes on the heels of a leading consumer publication naming Caribou Coffee the top gourmet coffee. In a national taste test, Caribou Coffee's Colombia Timana beat Starbucks and Peet's offerings, among others. Overall, Caribou Coffee ranked second for all coffees sold at the retail level.

The $1 bakery promotion will be available at all Caribou Coffee locations. All bakery items, including multi-grain bagels, breads, coffee cake, cookies, donuts and scones, are included.
