Marco's Appoints Vp Of Operations

(Tuesday, February 10, 2009) - Marco's Pizza has announced the promotion of Jim Strachan to vice president of operations from director of franchise operations.

Strachan oversees Marco's franchise operations and communication with its 18 area representatives around the country. He is also responsible for employee training and site and equipment selection for the company's growing chain of more than 170 stores.

Strachan was formerly the director of franchise sales for Yorkshire Global Restaurants in Troy, Mich. Prior to that, Strachan spent more than 19 years with Little Caesars Pizza in various roles overseeing franchise operations. He is also a Marco's franchisee with four stores of his own in Michigan.
