Panago Intros Surf N' Turf Pizza

(Wednesday, February 04, 2009) - In an effort to cater to consumers who want a fine dining experience without the high price tag, Canadian pizza chain Panago Pizza is introducing specialty pizzas inspired by the Surf N' Turf menu concept.

Panago's new Surf N' Turf pizza includes Panago's signature jalapeno white sauce, sirloin steak, wild pink shrimp, caramelized onions, tomatoes, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. The pizza also is available in a Turf N' Turf version, which features Cheezy cheddar sauce, sirloin steak, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, mozzarella and cheddar.

Panago has eliminated all added trans fat, MSG and artificial flavors and colors from its ingredients. Sales at Panago exceeded $140 million in 2008, an 8 percent increase over the previous year.
