Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. Has Hired Mark Crumpacker As Chief Marketing Officer.

(Friday, January 02, 2009) - Fast food chain Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. said Monday that it promoted Monty Moran to co-chief executive officer and is venturing into the European market for the first time.

Moran, who joined the burrito-and-taco chain four years ago, has been the restaurant company's president and chief operating officer since March 2005.

Chipotle named Mark Crumpacker as chief marketing officer and Bill Niman as a sustainable agriculture adviser.

Crumpacker is the co-founder of a San Francisco-based brand consulting firm and Niman is the founder of Niman Ranch, a network of farms that raises animals on diets of corn and alfalfa.
