Cold Stone Reaches Out To Franchise Owners

(Wednesday, December 31, 2008) - With the economy worrying small-business owners, the executive management team of ice cream company Cold Stone Creamery is visiting local markets to share advice on how to market and remain successful during an economic slump.

Cold Stone Creamery's president Dan Beem will be in Dallas on Jan. 5, 2009 to meet with local franchise owners.

The ice cream company also is visiting other local markets — a strategy that is different considering the company in the past has held a special conference in one place for all franchise owners.

The on-the-road executive consulting strategy launched several weeks ago and will finish in mid-January. Cold Stone Creamery executives chose to visit their local markets to save franchise owners from the expense of traveling to a conference.
