Christian Companion Caregiver Receives Kudos As Finalist

(Tuesday, October 14, 2008) - The Oklahoma Association of Health Care announced that Gayle
Cameron was a finalist for the 2008 Outstanding Homemaker/Home Health Aide award.
This was the third year in a row that a Christian Companion Senior Care caregiver has
been a finalist.
"We're so proud of Gayle. She exemplifies the type of dedication to her clients that we
look for in all our caregivers at Christian Companion Senior Care. Gayle's deep faith in
God results in an infectious joy that really brightens her client's lives," said Gary Brown,
president of Christian Companion Senior Care. "I think this just demonstrates that a
Christian caregiver really does make a difference."
The award ceremony was held on September 25, 2008 during the Oklahoma
Association of Health Care's annual conference. Cameron was one of three finalists
chosen from caregivers across the state.

Christian Companion Senior Care provides seniors with traditional in-home services,
such as bathing, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal preparation and
transportation. In addition, trained and experienced care-giving professionals are also
equipped to provide spiritual encouragement. Clients indicate that in-home assistance
gently coupled with spiritual encouragement – like prayer, reading the Bible, even
singing a favorite old hymn – can make the difference between merely existing and living
with joy.
