Abra Opens New Franchise Repair Center

(Thursday, October 30, 2008) - ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, announced today the opening of their newest franchise in Greeley, CO. This repair center, formerly known as Weld County Garage, is the twenty-third franchise operating under the ABRA brand.
Warren Yoder, owner of Weld County Garage, will continue as the owner/operator of ABRA-Greeley. "I have been considering for quite some time how to move our collision business to the next level," stated Yoder. "ABRA Auto Body & Glass has been in business for almost twenty-five years, and they have been consistently perfecting their operating procedures. That, coupled with their excellent reputation with the insurance industry and state-of-the art management system, will give us a solid base on which to continue to build a thriving business."
ABRA-Greeley is currently located at 1403 First Avenue, and employs thirteen production and office staff members. General Manager Jerry Short joined Yoder's company in July of 1987, and has been a body tech and manager in the collision repair industry since 1987.
"All of us at ABRA are extremely excited to have Warren and his team join our franchise group," said Mark Wahlin, ABRA's Vice President of Franchising. "They will be relocating to a newer facility in early 2009, which will give them an additional 8,000 square of feet of production space. This will help them not only give better customer service to the people in the Greeley area, but will allow Warren to add to his staff of professionals."
In addition to collision repair, Weld County Garage is also a GMC-Pontiac-Buick franchisee. Founded in 1908, they are the oldest Buick dealership west of the Mississippi. They have won the Greeley Tribune's award for "Best Dealership in Weld County" for seven consecutive years, the BBB Torch Award for Business Ethics, and the Greeley Chamber of Commerce Circle award.
ABRA Auto Body & Glass is a national damaged vehicle repair company specializing in collision repair, paintless dent removal, and auto glass repair and replacement.
