Shakey's Buys Back Big's

(Thursday, September 18, 2008) - Shakey's Pizza has reacquired four Big's Pizza & More stores in Southern California that once operated under the Shakey's brand. The restaurants are located in Norwalk, Downey, Anaheim and Buena Park, Calif.

Shakey's is remodeling the Big's restaurants immediately as part of its system-wide brand revitalization initiative scheduled for completion by mid 2009. The Big's acquisition is part of an expansion that includes the opening of six new stores in Southern California since January 2008.
