Robert Fix To Lead Shakey's Franchise Development

(Thursday, September 04, 2008) - Shakey's USA has announced the appointment of industry veteran Robert Fix as Shakey's vice president of franchise development.

Fix joins Shakey's after more than a decade of success leading franchise sales efforts for national restaurant brands, including Denver-based Red Robin and Boston Pizza, Canada 's largest casual dining chain.

At Shakey's, Fix will lead the development team to increase the brand's franchise sales to meet its 2010 projections.

Fix's appointment coincides with a period of dynamic franchise growth at Shakey's. Under the leadership of CEO Joe Remsa, the brand has seen record sales increases despite the current economic downturn, according to a news release.
