Maui Wowi Hawaiian Sells Saudi Arabia Master Franchise

(Wednesday, July 30, 2008) - Maui Wowi Hawaiian, a USA based Hawaiian themed coffee and smoothie business, has sold its Master Franchise for Saudi Arabia. Takween Commercial Investments has bought the Maui Wowi Hawaiian Master Franchise and will have the right to open outlets across Saudi Arabia, as well as selling sub-franchises throughout the Middle East.

Mohammed Alhumaidhi, who will lead Takween Commercial Investments's Maui Wowi Hawaiian operations, said: "Speciality drinks, and especially healthy beverages like fruit smoothies, are of growing interest to Saudis. We believe that the universal appeal of Hawaiian culture, combined with the demand for smoothies and world-class gourmet coffee in our country, will make Maui Wowi Hawaiian successful here."
