More Businesspeople Looking To Franchise In Down Economy

(Friday, May 09, 2008) - As the national economy weakens, Todd Fennell is one of a group of businesspeople joining the ranks of new franchisees.

A former teacher and real estate investor, Fennell and his brother Scott are new franchisees for Cincinnati-based Martinizing Dry Cleaning. They expect to open on May 18 in Wexford.

Fennell is joining one of the most established franchises in its field that is using green technologies to clean clothes more than 60 years after founder Henry Martin first invented dry-cleaning techniques.

"It's the Cadillac of dry-cleaning," Fennell said. "I wanted to be involved in the best of something."
