Dan Chappelle Named General Manager Of Cruiseshipcenters Usa Inc.

(Saturday, July 07, 2007) - Cruise industry expert Dan Chappelle has been named General Manager, CruiseShipCenters USA Inc. In this newly created role, Chappelle will be responsible for operating CruiseShipCenters' first U.S.-based retail location and host agency in Bellevue, Washington as well as growing the base of Independent Contractor and Home Based Agents throughout the United States.

"Dan brings a wealth of experience which will be invaluable as we roll out the CruiseShipCenters brand in the United States."

Chappelle has more than 20 years of experience in the cruise-industry, most recently with Cruise Holidays as Director of Sales & Vendor Strategy as well as Director of Operations & Franchise Relations.

Prior to joining Cruise Holidays in 2004, Chappelle owned and operated The Cruise Shoppe of Austin, Texas, developing the organization from the ground up into one of the largest independent cruise sales organizations in the United States. In addition to serving as the agency's president, Chappelle developed training programs and oversaw marketing, sales and business development.

Chappelle attended the University of Georgia and is MCC (Master Cruise Counselor) certified by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).

This appointment comes at a time when CruiseShipCenters is significantly expanding its operations. Last month, the company announced a long-term strategic partnership with Expedia Inc., the world's leading online travel company.
