North Carolina Proshred Franchise Makes Acquisition

(Wednesday, April 02, 2008) - ProShred Security's North Carolina franchise operation has acquired DocuShred, a Raleigh, NC-based on-site document destruction firm.

Jim Klemes, Proshred's franchise owner, notes that the acquisition will grow the company's geographic reach "and allow us to enhance the already excellent customer service level provided by all Proshred franchises in America.

Bruce Hill, who founded DocuShred, will continue to work with Jim Klemes and Proshred Security in shredding services. The company operates with two mobile shredding vehicles.

Hill notes that one of the concerns he has had that because he is an owner operator, the company needed contingency plans to ensure that his company's customers could be properly serviced. While he had looked at offers from other companies, he was impressed with the Proshred franchise.

Proshred says that it is the only mobile shredding service to have earned ISO 9001: 2000 certification. The company also has been certified by NAID.
