Local Two Men And A Truck Franchise Wins Revenue Award

BIRMINGHAM (Friday, March 21, 2008) - The local franchisor for moving company Two Men and a Truck has been honored by the chain for increased revenue for the 12th year in a row.

Richard McBee, the local franchise's president, received its Highest Revenue Award at a companywide conference held in Birmingham last week.

McBee said the company's revenue for 2007 was $5.3 million.

"We've made some good decisions along the way and avoided some fatal ones," said McBee of the company's revenue growth.

Before the ceremony, McBee hosted Two Men and a Truck executives and franchisees from around the world at his new facility on Belwood Drive in Cahaba Heights.

McBee said the company recently built a new $500,000, 5,000-square-foot building on the site of its old office. The building's centerpiece is a large customer service area for handling calls and walk-in customers.

The local franchise currently has about 65 employees and peaks at 100 during the summertime, he said.
