Ruby Tuesday Signs Franchise Agreement

SAN ANTONIO (Friday, March 07, 2008) - Casual dining chain Ruby Tuesday Inc. said Thursday it has entered into a franchise agreement with RTSA Development Interests to build and operate five restaurants in the San Antonio area.

The restaurants will be developed over the next four years, the company said. Financial terms of the pact were not disclosed.

Ruby Tuesday now has five franchise developers in Texas.

Ruby Tuesday shares fell 81 cents, or 10.8 percent, to close at $6.70. The stock has ranged from $5.70 to $30.48 over the past year.
