Owner Of York Fastsigns® Center Named To Franchise Committee

(Tuesday, January 22, 2008) - Jon Toy, owner of the York FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center, has been selected to serve a two-year term on the FASTSIGNS Franchise Advisory Committee (FAC) for FASTSIGNS International, Inc., a worldwide sign and graphics franchisor.
As a member of the FAC, Jon will help provide strategic advice and guidance on services and programs that benefit the FASTSIGNS network in North America and the United Kingdom. The FAC discusses issues that will affect the entire franchise system such as what new products and technology will enhance business for the franchise network as well as how these products will impact the future of the sign and graphics industry.

"Serving on the FAC is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the strong relationship that we as franchisees have with the franchisor," said Toy, who opened the York FASTSIGNS center in 2004, and is one of the younger owners in the franchise system. "I plan on seeking feedback from fellow franchisees on what is important and should be addressed and discussed with FII, as well as offering a perspective from a fairly new center and a younger owner in the system."

He hopes that he can bring in some fresh ideas to the network but also looks to learn from the knowledge of the more established franchisees. "I feel that working together is the key to any business success, and that starts with good communication," continues Toy. "It is important to continue to develop new strategies to keep us as a respected franchise as well as continuing growth for each and every center willing to participate and grow their centers."
