Glass Doctor Of Lynden, Wash. Earns National Accreditation

The Glass Doctor of Lynden franchise is accredited by AGRSS, a voluntary quality standard.

LYNDEN, WASH. (Monday, January 21, 2008) - The Glass Doctor of Lynden franchise is now accredited by the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards Council, Inc. (AGRSS).

The shop has agreed to adhere to the AGRSS standard, making it one of the elite shops listed on the exclusive AGRSS Web site, http://www.safewindshields.com.

"Our goal is to provide the highest quality service for our customers, so we are excited and honored to be in this select group of glass shops," said Richard Walter of the Glass Doctor of Lynden franchise, which recently moved to 7342 Guide Meridian Road, in the Wiser Lake Business Park.

By registering with AGRSS, the Glass Doctor of Lynden franchise has agreed to comply with the nationally recognized AGRSS standard for windshield replacement.

"The windshield is an integral part of the structural integrity of any car," said Cindy Ketcherside of JC's Glass in Phoenix, Ariz., chairperson of the council. "People don't realize how much of a safety concern proper replacement is. I urge anyone having auto glass replaced to look for an AGRSS-registered shop."

AGRSS is an accredited American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-standards development organization. It has developed the world's only auto glass replacement safety standard, the AGRSS standard (ANSI/AGRSS 002-2002 Automotive Glass Replacement Safety Standard). The AGRSS Standard addresses procedures, education and product performance.
