California Pizza Kitchen Signs Mexico Master Franchise

(Sunday, April 01, 2007) - US casual dining chain California Pizza Kitchen Inc. has granted a 15-unit franchise to Grupo Calpik SA de C.V., which will see the franchisee develop a network in Mexico over the next 10 years, starting with a planned opening in Mexico City later this year.

California Pizza Kitchen also reports that it expects to sign a Master Franchise agreement with a partner in South Korea, which will grant the rights for a minimum of 15 restaurant developments over a similar period of time.
