Back by Popular Demand, Hardee's Reintroduces Its Tribute to a True American Classic

(Monday, November 12, 2007) - Beef, and lots of it, is what's for dinner (and lunch) at Hardee's. That's because as of today, the Philly Cheesesteak Thickburger is back. An ode to the "city of brotherly love," the popular favorite is back at all Hardee's locations, and it's sure to please both cheesesteak and burger lovers everywhere. Anyone who couldn't get enough of the meat-on-meat legend last year can once again enjoy the classic steak-and-cheese combo piled high atop a 100 percent Black Angus Thickburger Patty.

"The Philly Cheesesteak Thickburger was a favorite among young hungry guys when it first launched in April 2006," said Brad Haley, executive vice president of Marketing for Hardee's restaurants. "It combines the classic taste of a Philly cheesesteak piled on our famous Thickburger. This remains one of our most innovative Thickburgers, and none of our competitors are offering anything comparable."

The Philly Cheesesteak Thickburger features a 1/3-pound, 100 percent Black Angus Thickburger Patty topped with thin-sliced steak, sauteed peppers and onions, and Swiss and American cheeses, all on a seeded bun. It is back for a limited time only and will be sold for $3.99 by itself or $5.99 for a small combo, which includes fries and a soft drink. Prices may vary.
