Inroads Names Rashard Gathers To Regional Board Of Directors

ERA Real Estate Executive Committed to Assisting Ethnically Diverse Students Achieve Success

(Tuesday, October 30, 2007) - Rashard Gathers, director of international service and operations for ERA Franchise Systems LLC, has been appointed to the New York/New Jersey Board of Directors for INROADS, an organization that places talented diverse students in internship positions and aims to continually develop their business skills and knowledge. Once an intern with the INROADS program himself, Gathers brings the alumni perspective to the board.

In his role on the Board, Gathers will be involved in identifying top talent, meeting the recruiting needs of corporations, aligning interns with appropriate opportunities, and developing interns into successful professionals.

"My hope is that my 15 years of experience with the INROADS organization and my alumni perspective will not only benefit the Board, but will also inspire the young professionals involved with INROADS to continue lifelong participation,"� said Gathers.

Gathers has remained active with the alumni component of the INROADS organization, which focuses on developing a pool of talented individuals suited for upper-level management positions. He served as the regional vice chairperson for the New York/New Jersey area from 2003 to 2007, during which time he launched a new Web site for the National INROADS Alumni Association (NIAA), NIAA.org.

A lifetime member of the National INROADS Alumni Association, Gathers has been awarded the Alumnus of the Year award for the Central New Jersey Chapter in 2004, the Emerging Leader Award for Excellence in 2005, and was inducted into the organization's Alumni Hall of Fame in 2007.
