Appleton Melting Pot Franchise Named Top In Nation

APPLETON (Monday, October 22, 2007) - The Melting Pot at 2295 W. College Ave. was named the national Melting Pot chain's franchise of the year.

The Appleton fondue restaurant opened in 2003, and is owned and operated by Jay, Heidi, John and Doreen Supple of Oshkosh.

The restaurant was judged on criteria including quality, marketing and adherence to the restaurant's core principles.

The national Melting Pot chain, based in Tampa, Fla., has 120 restaurants nationwide, and has 45 locations in development.
