Planet Beach Earns 20 Of Looking Fit Magazine's €˜top 250"™ Slots In Ranking Of U.s. Tanning Spa

(Thursday, February 15, 2007) - Planet Beach, the first spa franchise that offers tanning and skincare services under one roof, announced today that 20 of its locations have been named to LOOKING FIT magazine's Top 250 list of the best tanning salons in the U.S. for 2007. Planet Beach had more individual location winners than any other franchise.

Planet Beach franchise locations recognized in LOOKING FIT's Top 250 included outlets in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas.

Honorees were selected based on a comprehensive survey and interviews designed to identify the most innovative, professional and fastest-growing salons in the industry. Criteria ranged from the types of services offered, skin-typing of clients and average price per session to year-over-year growth, participation in certification programs, ongoing staff training and education, and various measures of commitment to customer service.

In addition to tanning services, Planet Beach offers facial rejuvenation, massage, and skin hydration treatments with automated equipment enabling clients to get pampered in privacy without the need for an attendant.

Clients at most locations have their choice of Luminous Facial treatments that combine light therapy with topical skincare products to improve skin tone and texture, full-body Aqua Massage treatments that ease aching muscles with pulsating water jets, and whole-body Hydro-Derma treatments that moisturize the skin as well as prolonging the life of a tan.
