Ultimate Franchise Systems, Inc. Opening Three New Jreck Subs Locations

(Thursday, October 12, 2006) - Ultimate Franchise Systems Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: UFSJ - News) announced today that Jreck Subs Inc., its fast casual affiliate based in Watertown, New York will complete the opening of three new locations this month. The regional sub shop favorite has recently opened restaurants in Champlain and Syracuse, New York, and will open a location in Liverpool, NY by the end of the month.

"We wanted to take full advantage of our new spokesman Jim Boeheim by opening these units before the basketball season started," explained Director of Marketing for Jreck Subs Lynette Lindy-Beck. "We're excited that Jim has enthusiastically embraced his new role, and believe that his promotional endorsement of Jreck is going to both increase our store traffic as well as bring opportunities to open new franchises." Hall of Famer Jim Boeheim is the coach of the Syracuse University basketball team and was coach of the 2003 NCAA Championship team from the university. A variety of promotional activities are being conducted including radio and television ads, point of purchase materials and promotional appearances.
