Rug Decor Franchise Registered And Approved By Sba

(Thursday, September 13, 2007) - Rug Decor, a specialty rug retail franchise has been approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for listing on the SBA's Franchise Registry. The SBA approval expedites the process for Rug Decor franchisees to obtain SBA loans and makes it simple for new owners to start their business with the growing retail concept.

The Franchise Registry is a national on-line listing of franchise systems whose franchisees, both existing and new, receive streamlined loan processing. It is operated by FranData in partnership with the SBA. To be listed on the Registry, both FranData and the SBA officially state the Rug Decor franchise system and franchise contract documents meet the SBA's strict eligibility criteria. Approximately 19% of all franchise systems enjoy the privilege and benefit of being listed on the Franchise Registry.

According to Scott Hayim, president of Rug Decor, the brand listing on the Registry positions Rug Decor and the franchisees for continued growth. "We put forth a lot of effort and deliberation in continually expanding and supporting our Rug Decor system nationwide, and achieving an approved status with the SBA is a testament we are on the right path," said Hayim.

When opening a franchise, the financing process can be one of the most difficult hurdles to overcome, but the Franchise Registry makes it easier to join the expanding Rug Decor system. The company is currently seeking qualified candidates to open 40 additional locations by the end of 2009.
