Art Of Hair Dressing

(Wednesday, September 12, 2007) - They have a presence in every country from UK to Australia to USA and Japan. Claiming to be the only hair dressing company in the world to be awarded a ‘Super Brand' status,' Toni & Guy will very soon enter the Indian markets.

The national art director Sonia Lyon and Technical director, Jacon Ward were here to demonstrate few chic hair styles at the Wella hair dressing competition, day before yesterday.

Talking about their experience in India the duo said, "It was two hundred times better than what we had expected." They added, "People here are very friendly and extremely helpful."

In the midst of a lengthy conversation they also admitted that they were quite impressed with the new talents in the country and are planning to open a hair dressing school here.

Both Sonia and Jacon were also very impressed with the lifestyle and glamour quotient. " India is happening. The place is buzzing with excitement. People here are fond of glamour and style. This is the place we must set up a base soon," Sonia says.

According to Jacon, shades of browns and velvets suit Indian women. "We are expected to bring in a lot of these shades..
Indian women have lovely eyes and they are extremely talented as well. Working with them and teaching them would be lot of fun," was his parting shot.
