Cici's Pizza Announces Prize Winners

(Saturday, September 08, 2007) - CiCi's Pizza has wrapped up its peel-and-win 32-ounce cup promotion, which was held in all of the company's 620 restaurants. Guests who purchased a 32-ounce beverage had a chance to win a Samsung 50" flat-panel HDTV, Apple iPod 1GB MP3 Shuffle players, as well as instant-win free buffets, soft drinks and free toppings on any to-go pizza.

Bill Mulroy of Inman, S.C., won the HDTV.

Even though Jonda Raborn of China Spring, Texas, missed out on the grand prize, she still left happy. Raborn had asked her parents to take her to CiCi's for her 13th birthday.

"She had been asking for an iPod for her birthday present but it was not something we could afford," said Neely Sparkman, Jonda's mother, "To cheer her up, we asked her to choose her favorite restaurant and she chose CiCi's. We ordered the 32-ounce drink for her and, to our delight, she won the iPod."
