Jamba Juice Names Greg Schwartz, Vice President, Supply Chain Management

(Thursday, July 05, 2007) - Jamba Juice®, the category-defining leader in healthy blended beverages, juices and good-for-you snacks, announces the appointment of Greg Schwartz as Vice President, supply chain management, effective July 9, 2007. This newly created position will report directly to CFO Don Breen and develop and execute a global supply chain strategy.

Mr. Schwartz brings 16 years of global and strategic sourcing, business development and materials management in food, general merchandise and operating supplies areas. He was most recently Vice President, global procurement for Wal-Mart focusing on global sourcing, primarily imports from Asia. Prior to that he spent 7 years with Safeway, Inc. and held several executive and leadership positions including Vice President, strategic sourcing, business development and materials management. Mr. Schwartz also worked with Phillip Morris Companies in their Kraft Food division and held several director, manager and buying positions in the purchasing and packaging area.

Mr. Schwartz received a bachelor degree in Business-Economics and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Illinois, Champaign.
