Lenny’s Sub Shop To Open In Fayette County

Sublicious, LLC Opening the First Restaurant in Fall 2007

(Monday, August 06, 2007) - Lenny’s Franchisor, LLC, franchisor of Lenny’s Sub Shops, today announced that franchisee group Sublicious, LLC was granted the rights to open two restaurants in Fayette County, Tennessee. The first restaurant will open in Oakland, Tennessee in fall 2007. Currently, there are 28 operating Lenny’s Sub Shops in the Memphis metro area.

“Fayette County is the next hot spot for growth outside of Shelby County, and Oakland is one of the fastest growing cities in Tennessee,� said George Alvord, Chief Executive Officer George Alvord. “We have had a demand for Lenny’s Sub Shops in Fayette County, and are excited to finally be bringing our delicious subs and Philly Cheesesteaks to the area.�

Len and Sheila Moore opened the original Lenny’s Sub Shop, a genuine Philadelphia-style sub shop with fresh baked bread and the finest quality deli meat and cheese, in a Memphis suburb in 1998. Lenny’s Franchisor Chief Executive Officer George Alvord and private investors acquired ownership of the company from Len Moore in 2004. Lenny’s has sold franchises in 20 states from California to Virginia.

Recently, Lenny’s has opened several restaurants in new markets, including Roseville, CA, Albuquerque, NM and Avon, IN. In addition they have sold multi-restaurant packages in several states, including California, Indiana, Ohio, Louisiana and New Mexico. Lenny’s is scheduled to open hundreds of restaurants in the next few years.
