Revamped Site Makes Navigation and Planning Trips Easier

(Monday, August 13, 2007) - Motel 6, the largest corporately owned and operated hotel chain in North America, launched a complete redesign of its Web site www.motel6.com. The Web site changes provide consumers with not only a new look and feel, but also with improved search options and better navigation tools.

According to Traveltrends' Fourth Quarter 2006 Conversion Report, the Motel 6 web site led the way for hotel chains in the fourth quarter by a wide margin with a 19.1 percent booking rate and in a previous report said that the Motel 6 site's clean design and value-focused messaging resonate well with its target audience.



The revamped site expands on its previous online success by continuing to offer the same great information, but with a more functional and visually appealing layout. All key information is placed directly on the home page, including Motel 6's location search tool and links to family trip planners, the pet friendly policy, Tom Bodett and Jack Hanna podcasts and more.



The new web site reflects the same sense of humor which underlies the award-winning Motel 6 TV campaign. It reflects the fact that you get everything you need for a comfortable stay – and nothing more – at the best price of any national chain. At Motel 6, there is no concierge, no valet service, no fitness center. Instead we offer a brochure rack, washing machines and a flight of stairs to climb.
