Tom Stone is Named Vice President

(Wednesday, August 15, 2007) - City Wide Franchise Company, headquartered in Lenexa, KS is proud to announce Tom Stone has been named to the new position of Vice President.

City Wide Maintenance was founded in Kansas City, MO by Frank Oddo in 1959. Current President, Jeff Oddo, second generation owner of the family business, began franchising the company's business model in 2001.

"Tom Stone's leadership was key as our family's janitorial and maintenance company re-engineered its business model," says Jeff Oddo, President of City Wide Franchise Company. "Tom deserves a great deal of the credit for transforming City Wide from a traditional operations company to a professional management company. After the Kansas City company completed its metamorphosis we realized City Wide had a unique, duplicatable business model that would be very effective in a franchise situation."

The VP position Stone held within City Wide Maintenance will be filled by Rob Ellis.

"We now have operations in 15 cities and the time is right to further our commitment to the growth of the other City Wide locations," continues Oddo. "City Wide Franchise Company has turned a corner and we're just hitting our stride."

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio Tom Stone earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati. Stone enjoyed a career as a Marine attack pilot and later earned his MBA from Boston University. He joined City Wide Maintenance in 1999 after working in various production and process improvement positions for Cintas and Lear Corporation, both Fortune 500 Companies.
