H&r Block Income Tax Course Educates Potential Tax Professionals

Class Curriculum Ranges from Basic Returns to Complex Deductions

(Thursday, July 26, 2007) - Starting in mid-August, H&R Block (NYSE: HRB) again will offer its industry-leading introductory income tax course.

The class includes 69 hours of instruction and generally meets two or three times a week for three hours. H&R Block offers the course in English, as well as a bilingual course in Spanish. Multiple class locations are offered, and course schedules are flexible so students can take the course without sacrificing existing work, school or family schedules.

The H&R Block Income Tax Course is designed to help participants learn about basic and complex tax situations. From identifying the correct filing status and number of dependents, to learning how to qualify for deductions related to self-employment and alternative-energy vehicle purchases, the course educates participants on the tax-preparation process.
