Students Graduate Level 10 Spanish!

(Thursday, April 05, 2007) - On April 4th, 2007 eleven, excited students from Valley View Elementary
School in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin celebrated their graduation
from Futura Language Professionals' ten-level, five-year Spanish program.
Each Wednesday for five years these students and their parents made a
commitment to attend Spanish classes after school. Through the use of
songs, games and cultural activities the students continuously
progressed in their language skills. Though they first learned basics like
numbers, colors, weather, etc. these students have made amazing
progress over the years and are now reading and writing in Spanish.
As fifth graders, they are also conjugating verbs and making complex
sentence structures. Because of the wonderful experience they have had in
Spanish class and the sheer self confidence that the Futura program has
promoted within them, these students have plans to continue to study
Spanish at the middle school level. They are excited to start middle
school with such a strong foundation in the language. Futura Language
Professionals will be officially showcasing a new 6th, 7th, and 8th grade
Spanish curriculum this coming September.
