Nearly 100 Exhibitors Featured At The Sir Speedy And Pip Printing & Document Services International Convention And Vendor Show
(Monday, August 06, 2007) -
Nearly 100 companies exhibited at the Annual Sir Speedy and PIP International Convention and Vendor Show in Denver, July 26-27. Leading companies in the printing, document solutions and graphic arts supply industries attend this annual convention to exhibit their products to the world's largest franchise organization in the quick printing industry.
"This year our Vendor Show was comprised of 170 booths spread across 106,000 square feet at the Denver Convention Center. The Vendor Show gives our vendors the opportunity to meet our franchisees and showcase their latest products, services and software tools," said Tina Stelzer, director of strategic development for Franchise Services. "Our franchisees look forward to seeing all of the exhibitors under one roof, and appreciate the opportunity to learn about new technology over just a few days that otherwise could take several weeks or longer to research on their own."
The Sir Speedy and PIP International Vendor Show is the largest of any quick printing franchise company. This year the show featured Vendor Spotlight events led by representatives from Xerox, the Advertising Specialties Institute (ASI), and EFI and included several sessions on new tools for integrated direct marketing campaign management.
Companies exhibiting at this year's vendor show included, Canon, Eastman Kodak, Heidelberg, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Mohawk Fine Papers, and Hewlett Packard. This year the Xerox booth promoted their Let's Say Thanks campaign—a mission to provide a way for individuals across the country to recognize U.S. troops stationed oversees. Attendees could select from several postcards printed on the Xerox iGen3® Digital Production Press to draft a personal notes or sentiment of appreciation that will be mailed in care packages by the military support organization Give2TheTroops®. Along with the Vendor Show, the convention featured more than 30 seminars and presentations. Antonio Perez, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eastman Kodak was the keynote speaker at the opening general session. The convention ended with an awards banquet to honor the top franchise centers in the Sir Speedy and PIP networks where Lee Greenwood entertained the crowd with a private concert.
