Amato's Expands In New England

(Thursday, August 02, 2007) - Amato's Italian sandwich shop has announced major company growth through an eight-store development-franchising agreement in Southern New Hampshire, and a three-store development agreement in Bangor, Maine.

In addition to the new agreements, Amato's will open an Amato's Xpress unit in Fairfield, Maine, later this summer, with ongoing plans to open more Xpress units along the I-95 corridor.

The new contracts bring the number of Amato's franchised units in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont to 26. Amato's also has 12 company-owned units in Maine.

All new locations will offer Amato's complete line of sandwiches, salads, appetizers, pasta dishes, pizzas, calzones and the company's trademark "Amato's Original" sandwich.
