Obee's Franchise Systems, Inc. Signs First Agreement For Metro -- Dallas Marketplace

(Thursday, August 02, 2007) - Obee's Franchise Systems, Inc. announced today that it has signed an agreement to open its first obee's(R) soups salads & subs restaurant in the greater Dallas, Texas marketplace. Owsen Enterprises Inc., based in Irving, Texas completed the negotiations earlier this week, and has now started the process of determining where the company should open its first location.

Peter Brown, Obee's Franchising Systems, Inc. President congratulated Owsen on the company's decision saying, "we understood from the beginning that obee's(R) soups salads & subs was in competition with a number of very respected names in the fast casual restaurants and subs arena. I would like to personally thank Mr. Chris Williams, Vice-President of Operations & Development for Owsen for his diligent research and attention to the unique offerings of our franchise operations. We look forward to working closely with him in the coming months to help make first restaurant operation, in this vibrant and significant Dallas marketplace, a huge success."

obee's(R) soups, salads & subs features a menu of both healthy and hearty items ranging from fresh garden salads to extra large, deli-style sub sandwiches. Earlier this week OBFM announced that a new location is also set to open in the Greensburg, Pennsylvania area as part of the company's development plans in Pennsylvania. This is the first of twenty locations that the company has contracted for with that region's area developers for the three county territory of Westmoreland, Indiana and Cambria counties.
