Donatos Pizza Introduces Chicken Harvest Salad

Kick off the "100 Days of Summer" with this refreshing new addition

(Monday, June 04, 2007) - The warm days of summer are here and Donatos Pizza, the creator of the Edge-to-Edge® pizza, is thinking beyond the crust with the introduction of the new Chicken Harvest Salad. What better way to celebrate the swimsuit season than with chicken, sweet red apples, bleu cheese crumbles, tart cranberries, honey-roasted pecans and crispy bacon all atop a bed of Romaine lettuce and drizzled with Apple Cider Vinaigrette.

Donatos is committed to providing high-quality products with true taste variations. "We use only Romaine lettuce on the Chicken Harvest Salad, which means there's no iceberg lettuce as filler. For instance, the 48th day of the "100 Days of Summer" offers the following advice: "You can eat pizza anywhere. Eat it on a blanket and call it a Piznic."
