D.c. Madam Likes Papa John's Pizza????

(Thursday, July 19, 2007) - The much publicized phone records of the so-called "D.C. Madam" have only produced one phone number in area code "502" and it's a curious one.

According to the phone records that Deborah Jean Palfrey has publicly released, two calls from her Sprint phone went to the corporate headquarters of Papa John's in Louisville. It appears from the billings that Palfrey called directory assistance to get the Papa John's number. The records show a call was made to directory assistance in the "270" area code on November 11, 2004 at 8:37 a.m. Over the next couple of minutes, two phone calls went to Papa John's corporate HQ's main number. Each call lasted less than 3 minutes. Papa John's spokesman Chris Sternberg says he has no idea why the "D.C. Madam" might be calling his company, saying hundreds of people call every day. Sternberg did have a sense of humor about it, cracking some jokes and saying he was glad Palfrey had to find the number through directory assistance and hadn't memorized it.

Palfrey's phone list has already snared a Louisiana congressman who has admitted using her services. You can easily find the published phone lists on the internet.
