Burger King Promotes Kappitt To Svp Global Business Intelligence

(Friday, July 13, 2007) - Mike Kappitt has been appointed as Burger King Corp.'s senior vice president of Global Business Intelligence and Strategy, effective immediately.

In his new role, Kappitt will oversee consumer insights and performance analytics globally, as well as the trade area analytics that inform development decisions. He also will retain his responsibilities for global sales forecasting, and for pricing decisions for new and existing products.

Kappitt has been with Burger King since September 2002. Most recently, he served as vice president of Consumer Insights and Performance Analysis, where he supported the development of new products, promotions, advertising, and strategic platforms for Burger King consumers.

Kappitt graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
