Garlic Jim's Continues East Coast Expansion

(Wednesday, June 20, 2007) - Washington-based Garlic Jim's Famous Gourmet Pizza has opened its second East Coast location on Old Mill Road in Forks, Pa. The store is operated by Francept LLC, which owns the rights to sell Garlic Jim's franchises in the eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey market.

Francept already operates a Garlic Jim's location in Clarks Summit, Pa. The company is planning a third store in Madison, N.J.

The Forks location will be open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday. To help promote the opening, Francept is sending out 8,000 ‘Meet the Manager' coupons for a medium specialty pizza for pick up, free of charge. Residents will be given the option to upgrade their order to a large specialty pizza for $5.

Garlic Jim's has grown from two open stores in 2004 to 36 open stores and 93 franchises sold in 2006. In addition to locations in Oregon, Arizona, California, Pennsylvania and Washington, Garlic Jim's has stores under development in New Jersey, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee and Texas.
