City Wide Maintenance Of Indianapolis Wins Top Honor

INDIANAPOLIS (Tuesday, March 20, 2007) - In less than 2 years in business, Indianapolis entrepreneur Jeff Smith has earned the respect of his clients and his peers.


Smith is in elite company, as one of 87 franchise owners recognized at the 47th Annual Convention of the International Franchise Association (IFA), held in Las Vegas, Nevada in February. The IFA has over 800 companies in its membership and is one of the largest associations in the United States.


City Wide Maintenance of Indianapolis is a professional management company within the building maintenance industry offering 20+ services to its clients, including janitorial, carpet cleaning, window washing, parking lot maintenance and tenant improvements. City Wide is a "Total Solution" to its clients for building maintenance services. Says Smith, "We save our clients time by reducing the headaches associated with managing multiple vendors."


Jeff Smith was recognized on stage at the recent IFA Convention and received his award from David Jordan, Vice President of Foodservice National Accounts, PepsiCo Foodservice. The selection criteria for the award include new sales, total growth, customer retention and the number and variety of services offered to clients.


Smith is a 1994 graduate of DePauw University and a 2005 graduate of the Master of Business Administration Program at Butler University College of Business. He lives in Fishers, Indiana with his wife of two years, Katy, a school teacher, also a graduate of Butler University.


City Wide Maintenance was founded in Kansas City, MO by Frank Oddo in 1959 and is now a national organization with multiple locations. Current President, Jeff Oddo, second generation owner of the family business began franchising the company's business model in 2001.
