Accor North America Wins 2007 Celebration Of Diversity Award For Workplace Of The Year In Dallas/fort Worth

(Wednesday, June 13, 2007) - Accor North America was honored on June 7th with the 2007 Celebration of Diversity Award for "Workplace of the Year" in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.



Accor's North American headquarters is based in Dallas (Carrollton), Texas, and includes more than 500 employees at the headquarters and 15,500 in North America operating more than 870 upscale and economy hotel properties including Motel 6 and Studio 6 and the upscale Sofitel, mid-scale Novotel and Ibis hotel locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.



The Celebration of Diversity awards program is sponsored by Ernst & Young and recognizes corporations, individuals, and non-profit organizations that have gone above and beyond to champion diversity and inclusiveness efforts within their organizations and the broader community. The program, the only one of its kind in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area, honors those that are "leading the charge" in the important effort to embrace diversity in all its forms.
